A little bit about me...

My name is Julia & I am the face behind Julia Rose Films.

I’m 23 years old & have been professionally photographing & filmmaking since January 2022.

I got married to the love of my life, Levi, in June 2021. In June of 2023, we welcomed our first baby, Willow, into the world and life has been extra sweet since.

I am a Christian, and strive to bring glory to God in everything I do. You’ll often find me volunteering at my church’s youth group or singing on their worship team.

I have a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Windsor and am currently working towards my certification with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.

I have a huge sweet tooth and love alll things sugar. I don’t like coffee or tea, but you can catch me drinking an Iced Tea.

The start of JRF...

My love for videography & photography dates back to when I was a child. I was always the girl taking pictures and videos of everything going on. My friends would always get annoyed when I asked them to create an “iMovie” video or have a fun photoshoot. My husband always encouraged me to turn my hobby into a business. I put it off for a while because I didn’t think I was capable of running a business. A friend of mine was getting married in January of 2022, and when her videographer backed out, I offered to film her wedding. I fell in love with filmmaking and photography after that day and decided to start Julia Rose Films.

I have a deep passion for capturing life’s most precious moments because I understand that life is fleeting. I strongly believe that photos and videos are gifts that we will pass down to future generations.
